Ikarus was created in 2020 prior to the global pandemic. In a way this artwork seems fitting for 2020. A time when life changed and the sky became empty.
Created from unwanted materials like packaging, foil wrappers, embellished with oil chalks and ink . I like finding material to work with it provides me with a sense of unpredictabILITY OUT OF control THINKING. It sets me a challenge To make sense OUT OF CHAOIS.
